Surgical treatment for familial adenonlatous polyposis in 16 cases

Abstract：Objective To analyze the surgery for Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). Methods Data of 16 patients from 1994 to 2006 was reviewed. Results Two patients had ileum Stature,and 10 had all colon excision and ileum-rectum anastomosod surgery. Four underwent all mucosa of colon and rectum divested and ileum pouch-anus anastomosed surgery. Conclusion Familial Adenomatous Polyposis was a dominant genetic disease of euchromosome. Although surgery was the first choose for FAP, we should carry out diffdrent operations according to different cases.
