Abstract:Objective To evaluate the role of magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) for patients with esophageal gastero veincosis(ESV). Methods Twenty-one patients with ESV were selected in this clinical study and 3D-DCEMRA and endoscopy were used for study of esophageal gastero veineosis (ESV) anatomy, with comparison of 11 patients with indirect portal venography (IPVG). Results The anatomical imaging of esophageal gastero veineosis(ESV) was clearly displayed in 3D-DCEMRA expect 6 eases (6/31) with 8 in IPVG expect 3 cases (3/11) P>0.05. The imaging quality of MRA was better than that of IPVG. Conclution As a noninvasive technique, MRA can display the anatomy of esophageal gastero veineosis(ESV) and incestigateits esophageal gastero veincosis (ESV).
