Abstract：Objective To analyze the relationship between serum uric acid(SUA)level and metabolism syndrome(MS).Methods Probing the body checking data of 344 cases from an unit and analyzing the relationship between serum uric acid level and metabolism syndrome.Results The levels of BMI,TC,LDL-C and TG were higher in MS group than in the control group.On the contrary,the level of HDL-C was lower.Metabolism syndrome iS related to the level of SUA.Conclusion High serum uric acid(HUA)is an independent risk factor for metabolism syndrome MS.
