Abstract:Objective To study and discuss the change of acid phosphatase.zinc a8 well 8,8 semen parameter before and after varicoceletomy. Methods The seminal plasma samples of 98 infertile men with varicocele and 38 fertile men were measured and analysed respectively for acid phosphatase zinc and semen parameter before and after varicoceletomy. Results The concentration of acid phosphatase in semihal plasma from men with normal fertility was significantly higher than that from infertile men with varicocele(P<0.01),the zinc in seminal plasma was obviously lower than that from men with normal fertility (P<0.05).The significant reduction (P<0.01)of sperm density,(A+B)grade sperm percentage and sperm viability as well from 42 patients.while the irregular-head sperm was much more than the normal men(P<0.01).Furthermore,the sperm quality was improved after varicoceletomy. Conclusion The varicocele can reduce sperm quality, acid phosphatase in seminal plasma and zinc, which actually results in infertility. The sperm quality can be improved effectively after varicoceletomy.
