The therapy of laparoscopic cholecystectomy for the aged patients with cholecystitis

Abstract：Objective To study the value of Laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)for the aged patients with Cholecystitis.Methods The clinical data of aged patients with eholeeystitis treated by laparoscopic choleeystectomy were retrospectively analyzed and compared with that of patients treated by open cholecystectomy.These patients were divided into the two groups based on with or without laparoscopy operation.Results 1'hC patients treated by OC had longer postoperative recovery,Time of stay and surgery duration slower which had significant stastical difference with LC(P＜0.05).But there Was no significant different in the complications and the quantity of flowing liquid from abdominal cavity after operation between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion LC iS safe and feasible for the aged cholecystitis.The key steps to reduce complications are wholely appraising systematic condition,choosing operation juncturc rationally,manipulating carefully during operating and transferring to routine cholecystectomy when necessary.
