Abstract：Objective To investigate the therapeutic value of three-pert approach laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods Clinical data from 2860 cases between October 1998 and May 2007 undergoing elective lapamscopic cholecystectomy via three-pert technique Was analyzed:Results 2773 patients successfully underwent the three-pert iaparoscopic cholecystectomy.Fourth pert was used in 56 patients.31 patients were converted to open cholecysteetomy. Operative time ranged from 15 to 55 min(nleau,30 min).The postoperative hospital stay ranged from 2 to 8 days.Conclusion Laparoscopic eholecystectomy via three-port technique has many advantages such as being mini.invasive.1ess painful,shorter in duration,less blood loss and rapid recovery and therefore deserves widespread application.
