Emergent pulmonary arteriography and interventional therapy for postoperative patients with acute pulmonary embolism

Abstract：Objective To discuss the causes of postoperative acute pulmonary embolism and the possible intervenient therapy. Methods Six postoperative patients received emergent pulmonary arteriography and interventional therapy. Results After emergent pulmonary arteriography and interventional therapy, 5 cases were cured, 1 case was dead. Conclusion Emergent pulmonary arteriography and interventional therapy could facilitate hemodynamic stability in patients with postoperative acute pulmonary embolism and improve survival rate.
