Diagnosis and treatment of 14 cases of traumatic bladder rupture

Abstract：Objective To discuss early diagnosis and treatment of traumatic bladder rupture.MethodsFourteen cases of traumatic bladder rupture were retrospectively analyzed.Results Thirteen patients receivedsurgical repair of ruptured bladder.One patient had indwelling urinary catheter drainage therapy.All patients couldurinate normally after treatment without complication occurrence.Conclusion Retrograde cystography was the mostreliable diagnostic method.The patient who suffer from traumatic bladder rupture should be treated in early stage bysurgical repair of the ruptured bladder.The indication of nonoperative therapy needs to be properly considered.Theearly diagnosis and operation were the critical points of a successful treatment for traumatic bladder rupture.
