Abstract:Given the large number, aging structures, and complex types of reservoir dams in China, coupled with practical challenges arising from changing environments and intense human activities, traditional operation and maintenance models can no longer meet the demands of"life-cycle management"and"precision risk prevention and control".Reviews the development history of reservoir dam safety operation and maintenance in China, analyzes the challenges faced, systematically elaborates on the concept and characteristics of smart dam operation and maintenance, clarifies the life-cycle management logic of"thorough perception, autonomous analysis, intelligent decision-making,and precise execution",and establishes a new era smart dam operation and maintenance system based on the OODA-PDCA framework.Key technologies in smart dam operation and maintenance are reviewed, including thorough perception, risk situation analysis, scientific decision-making,and disposal measures. The feasibility of the technical system is validated through a practical case study of a provincial dam risk real-time early warning platform.Smart operation and maintenance of reservoir dams has emerged as a core pathway to ensure the high-quality development and high-level safety of water infrastructure, providing theoretical support and practical references for enhancing dam operation and maintenance efficiency and safeguarding engineering safety.
