Abstract：As the water source of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,the Danjiangkou Reservoir plays a critical role for safeguarding project safety,water supply safety,and water quality safety.The South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Water Source Co.,Ltd.has made great efforts to ensure"three safety"through measures such as planning guidance,disaster prevention and control,digital empowerment,effective cooperation and management.Under the new situation,the company faces new challenges brought by needs of improving management of the reservoir area,multiple factors that affect inflow,risks with water quality and safety,overlapping of management functions and poor coordination,lacking of space-sky-ground-water-project integration for monitoring and perception.Measures and suggestions include establishment of a modern reservoir operation and management matrix,making water supply plan with highlight of conservation and safeguarding water supply safety,building up monitoring and perception capabilities and strengthening water quality safety,formation of a collaborative mechanism for joint management and cooperation of stackholders,prompting digital twin Danjiangkou and ensuring"three safety"by"intelligent brain".
