Abstract：Advancing standardized management of small reservoirs is foundation of accelerating establishment of a modernized reservoir operation management matrix,the experiences of applying"the small led by the big"model for small reservoir management in Jiangxi Province are summarized,by taking Yuanzhou District as an example,such as"separating management and maintenance",matrix application,defining financial resources,strict performance evaluation and check and acceptance,and perfect management systems.The analysis centers on the existing problems,and measures and suggestions of policy guidance,financial support,professional training,supervision and assessment,standardized management,and development of information system,so as to provide insights for improving management and benefit generation of small reservoirs in Jiangxi Province and other regions.
