Abstract:Mastering basic information about irrigation districts is crucial for water-saving management. In the Pearl River basin, agricultural irrigation districts are characterized by fragmented plots, complex cropping patterns, and numerous water sources, resulting in unclear baselines and extensive management.Remote sensing technology, with its low cost, extensive coverage, and short revisit cycles, shows great potential for application in water-saving management of irrigation districts. This study utilizes integrated"space-air-ground"remote sensing technology and develops a multi-feature coupling cropping structure interpretation model through deep learning,to effectively support the verification of water-saving society standards in county-level agricultural irrigation districts. It proposes methods for calculating the total net irrigation water consumption and the irrigation water utilization coefficient based on remote sensing evapotranspiration, water quotas, and actual irrigated areas, achieving accurate estimations of regional water usage and irrigation efficiency.Addressing discrepancies in provincial agricultural water quotas within the Pearl River basin, the study employs remote sensing evapotranspiration to evaluate the rationality of water quotas for adjacent regions across different provinces.
