Abstract：Based on the objective and comprehensive assessment of the current situation of Liaohe River basin flood control engineering system,the change of flood control situation in Liaohe River basin is deeply analyzed.The key problems of flood control in the West Liaohe River basin are analyzed,such as part of the planned flood storage project has not been implemented,Liao River main stream flood discharge capacity is still insufficient,and the planning control project around Yang River has not been implemented,to explore the planning path of constructing the new pattern of flood control security in Liaohe River basin.
