Studies on legal system to safeguard reservoirs and dams safety

Abstract：China has a large number of reservoirs and dams and their safety is closely related to national economy,people's livelihood,and public security.The Regulations on Administration of Reservoir Dam Safety provides comprehensive provisions on dam safety management.However,we lack of provisions to safeguard dam safety in relevant laws and regulations that has led to certain gaps.Through comparative analysis on the different legislative forms and advantages and disadvantages of formulating safety and security regulations for dam safety,specific suggestions are proposed to modify and improve the current laws and regulations related to reservoir dam safety.
