Abstract:To support the construction of the digital twin water resources system, this study investigates the potential impact of long-term climate change and short-term extreme weather events on the frequency of flood and drought disasters, based on exploring the complex interaction between hydrology and meteorology in river basins. It aims to advance the integration of multi-source data driven by key meteorological elements and to establish a hydrological and meteorological prediction platform.By providing real-time forecasts and simultaneous interpretations of medium and short-term extreme weather events,it seeks to enhance the capability and response speed of decision-making for flood control and drought management in river basins. The findings of this research are significant for refining and optimizing the"four pres"approach to flood and drought disaster control in digital twin watersheds.
