Abstract：Information management systems provide scientific and standardized technical means for the development of soil and water conservation carbon sink projects.The paper analyzes main challenges,construction goals,and overall framework for developing a management information system of soil and water conservation carbon sink projects.Taking the Luodi River Small Watershed in Changting County of Fujian Province as the study object,an information system was developed for the entire process of soil and water conservation carbon sink project development.The application of the system in comprehensive governance of the Luodi River Small Watershed and its weak points are summarized.Suggestions are proposed to enhance the management level of soil and water conservation carbon sink projects.
