Abstract:In 2023,the"23·7"basin flood occurred in the Haihe River, and the largest flood since 1924 occurred in the Yongding River. In order to quickly grasp the flood situation and promptly carry out flood response efforts, this study utilizes the Beijing series high-resolution satellites and remote sensing technology for flood disaster analysis in the Yongding River Basin.By employing a combination of pre and post-disaster image comparisons, visual interpretation, and empirical methods with human-computer interaction identification to establish thresholds, the study rapidly assesses the inundation situation. The identified flood extents are verified through on-site flood mark delineation, and using ArcGIS spatial analysis, the maximum inundation area of the Yongding River is extracted. The outcomes of the inundation analysis serve as a crucial support for the subsequent comprehensive management of the Yongding River, facilitating post-disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts in the basin.
