Abstract：The Yellow River culture,a crucial component of Chinese civilization,represents the root and soul of the Chinese nation.Advancing the protection,inheritance and promotion of the Yellow River culture to achieve creative transformation and innovative development holds significant historical and practical importance,which contributes to the deepening of key national strategies for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin,fostering cultural confidence,and building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation.This paper analyzes the challenges faced by the Yellow River culture existing in the research,protection,inheritance and promotion of the Yellow River culture under the new situation,such as deficiencies in disciplinary integration,incomplete collaborative mechanisms,low resource utilization efficiency,and inadequate international communication Recommendations are proposed,focusing on interpreting the spiritual essence of the Yellow River culture,exploring its contemporary value,establishing the Yellow River National Culture Park,constructing a research framework,and building an international communication system.
