Abstract：The development of efficient water-saving irrigation is the path we must take to develop modern agriculture in Jiangsu Province.This paper summarizes the current status of efficient water-saving irrigation in Jiangsu,and analyzes the potential and demand for its development.Examining constraints from natural conditions,technical equipment,investment,and management levels,the study proposes strategic measures,including selecting appropriate development models,enhancing technological support,strengthening exemplary demonstrations,and emphasizing public awareness efforts.
