Research progress in water resources monitoring based on satellite remote sensing images

Abstract：Satellite remote sensing technology enables the spatiotemporal monitoring of water resources distribution,providing comprehensive,quantitative,and rapidly updated fundamental information for analyzing the spatial distribution and change patterns of water resources.This paper provides a systematic review of the research progress in surface water resources and groundwater resources monitoring based on satellite remote sensing imagery,and analyzes the challenges and potential research directions in satellite remote sensing image monitoring,aiming to offer a reference for the application of research in related fields.
