Analysis of key issues in delineating groundwater depression cones in Hebei Province

Abstract：The scientific delineation of groundwater depression cones is crucial for the groundwater depression cone treatment and restoration and the groundwater resources management in Hebei Province.In 2023,Hebei Province released the Specification for Delineation of Groundwater Depression Cones(DB13/T 5704-2023),providing a basis and reference for the identification and delineation methods of groundwater depression cones.The key to regularly and accurately delineating and thoroughly researching groundwater depression cones lies in fully understanding the dynamic evolution of groundwater depression cones,studying the developmental characteristics of groundwater depression cones,analyzing important preconditions,identifying key issues in the preparation of basic maps or drawings,and grasping crucial points in the identification and division methods of groundwater depression cones.
