Studies on rationality of layout of low-pressure pipe water conveyance system——a case study of Qingshuiba Irrigation District in Xuyi County of Jiangsu Province

Abstract：Low-pressure pile irrigation system has been widely used and applied in crop fields in northern part of Jiangsu Province, because it can adapt to complex terrain and irrigate the land that earth canal cannot be reached. Design of pipe network has been made in line with the feature of irrigation districts. Comparison has also been conducted from the respects of irrigation system, cost and investment and operation and maintenance, in order to study the rationality of system layout.
