Construction of concrete water-conveying box culverts——a case study on Tianjin Mainline of South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Phase-Ⅰ Project

Abstract：The section between Xiheishan import gate and box culverts of Tianjin Mainline of South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Phase-I Project is formed by 30 hydraulic structures, including mainly concrete water-conveying box culverts, as well as import gates, regulation tanks and water-conserving weirs. The construction of water-conveying box culverts was divided into two phases of baseboard and wall and roof. The construction methods and measures for quality insurance are summarized so as to provide references for other similar projects.
