Research progress on the effects of hypoxia on the reproductive function of male gonads

Abstract：Reproductive function of male gonadal consists of several key factors including sex hormones,spermatogenesis and maturation.Previous studies have suggested that the imbalance of oxidative and antioxidant systems in the body induced by hypoxia leads to the excessive generation of ROS which may directly or indirectly affect the reproductive function of male gonadal.This paper focuses on the progress of research on the mechanism of oxidative stress-mediated effects on male gonadal reproductive func-tion under hypoxia.
