A Case Report of Acute Scrotal Pain Caused by Ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and Left Common Iliac Artery Aneurysm
Abstract:Ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm is one of the most dangerous emergencies in surgery, with a high mortality rate. The most common complaint of patients is pain, which is usually located in the abdomen or back. Acute scrotal pain caused by ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm is extremely rare. Our hospital treated one case of acute scrotal pain caused by rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm and left common iliac artery aneurysm in October 2023. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Qianjiang District Chinese Medicine Hospital, Chongqing [Approval Number: (2024) Ethical Review No. (277)], and the patient provided informed consent.
