Mechanisms and Efficacy of Semaglutide in the Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases
Abstract：Diabetes, as a major chronic non-communicable disease, has caused a heavy disease burden worldwide. Long-term uncontrolled hyperglycemia can cause irreversible damage to the cardiovascular system. However, current treatments for cardiovascular diseases complicated by diabetes mainly focus on stabilizing blood glucose and controlling cardiovascular risk factors, with a lack of specific therapies.
