Research Progress of Arterial Spin Labeling in Cerebral Perfusion of Alzheimer's Disease
Abstract:Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the deposition of β-amyloid peptide (Aβ) plaques and the formation of neurofibrillary tangles composed of phosphorylated tau protein. These pathological changes lead to persistent neuronal and synaptic damage, ultimately resulting in the occurrence and progression of the disease. AD is a continuous disease spectrum, divided into three stages: asymptomatic preclinical, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) caused by AD, and dementia caused by AD.
