A Case Report of Postmortem Examination of a Patient with Alzheimer's Disease Combined with Amygdala Lewy Body Disease
Abstract:Frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) is a syndrome of dementia characterized by selective atrophy of the frontal and temporal lobes, and it primarily presents with progressive psychiatric and behavioral abnormalities, executive dysfunction, and language impairment [1]. FTLD is divided into three subtypes: behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bv-FTD), non-fluent primary progressive aphasia, and semantic variant primary progressive aphasia [2-4].
