Artificial Intelligence-Driven Research on Cerebral Small Vessel Disease: Paradigm Shift from Mechanism Elucidation to Precision Diagnosis and Treatment
Abstract：Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) is a cerebrovascular disorder primarily affecting small arteries, arterioles, small veins, and capillaries [1]. With the acceleration of global aging, the incidence of CSVD has shown a significant upward trend, posing a major burden on public health systems. Current research data indicate that CSVD accounts for approximately 20% of all cerebrovascular diseases and is the main cause of vascular dementia (40%) and lacunar stroke (25%) [2].
