A Case of Programmed Death Receptor 1 Inhibitor-Related Myocarditis Combined with Third-Degree Atrioventricular Block
Abstract:In recent years, with the widespread use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), especially programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) inhibitors, the prognosis of patients with various malignant tumors has been significantly improved, offering new hope for cancer patients. However, a series of immune-related adverse events (irAEs) have also emerged. Among these, immune-related myocarditis combined with third-degree atrioventricular block has a low incidence but a high mortality rate, thus attracting widespread attention. This study reports the clinical treatment process of a patient with severe PD-1 inhibitor-related myocarditis combined with third-degree atrioventricular block who was cured after treatment, aiming to enhance clinical physicians' understanding of PD-1 inhibitor-induced immune myocarditis combined with third-degree atrioventricular block and provide references for early diagnosis and treatment.
