Research Progress on the Mechanisms of Vascular Aging
Abstract：According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, by the end of 2024, the number of people aged 60 and over in China reached 310 million, accounting for 22.0%. With the increasing severity of population aging in China, the health issues of the elderly have become increasingly prominent. The increase in age-related diseases greatly reduces the health level and living ability of the elderly, imposing a huge burden on families and society. Among them, cardiovascular diseases caused by vascular aging remain the leading cause of death among Chinese people.
