Abstract:Objective To explore the value of peripheral blood level of omentin-1 in evaluating early neurological deterioration(END)in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)after thromboly-sis.Methods A total of 210 patients with identified ACI receiving thrombolysis in our hospital during February 2021 and February 2022 were recruited, and according to the omentin-1 level af-ter thrombolysis, they were divided into low-,medium-and high-level groups(<150 μg/L,150-200 μg/L,>200 μg/L,with 70 cases in each group). The occurrence of END was compared in the three groups of patients.Pearson correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation be-tween omentin-1 level and END,Cox regression analysis was employed to analyze the influencing factors of END,and ROC curve analysis was conducted to analyze the predictive value of omentin-1 for END.Results Among the 210 ACI patients,60(28.6%)of them had END.Significant differ-ence was observed in the incidence in the low-,medium-and high-level groups(45.7%vs 25.7%vs 14.3%,P<0.01),and the rate in the high-level group was obviously lower than that of the low-and medium-level groups(P<0.01).Pearson correlation analysis showed that omentin-1 level was negatively correlated with the occurrence of END(r=-0.635,P<0.05).Multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated that the time from onset to thrombolysis, diabetes, white blood cell count and omentum 1 level were independently related to END occurrence after thrombolysis(P<0.05,P<0.01).RO)C curve analysis suggested that the cutoff value of omentin-1 was 162.36μg/L in predicting END,with an AUC value of 0.868(95%CI:0.811-0.925),a sensitivity of 73.3%and a specificity of 88.0%.Conclusion The peripheral blood level of omentin-1 is closely associated with the occurrence of END in ACI patients after thrombolysis, and it can be used as a biomarker in evaluation of END occurrence.
