Efficiency of CT perfusion imaging-guided thrombolytic therapy for acute ischemic stroke with unclear onset time
Abstract:Objective To study the efficiency and satety of CT perfusion (CTP)-guided thrombolytic therapy for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) with unclear onset time. Methods Sixty-one AIS patients with unclear onset time who underwent CTP were divided into CTP group (n=8),nonthrombolysis group (n =36),and control group (n =17).Their therapeutic effect, clinical curative rate and incidence of hemorrhage were assessed according to the NIHSS before and 24 h and 14d after treatment. Results No significant difference was found in the NIHSS scores between the three groups before treatment (P>0.05).The NIHSS score was significantly lower in CTP group and control group than in non-thrombolysis group 24 h and 14 d after treatment (P<0.01).No significant difference was found in the NIHSS score between CTP group and control group (P>0.05).The curative rate was significantly higher in CTP group and control group than in nonthrombolysis group (62.5%00 vs 11.1%,58.8% vs 11.1%0,P=0.006,P=0.001).No significant difference was found in the curative rate between CTP group and control group (P =1.000).Conclusion CTP is of certain guiding significance in intraveinous therapy for AIS with uncertain onset time.
