Irregular life and education level are the influencing factors for elderly male hypertentive patients (OR=1 .609 ,95% C I:1.018-2 .542 ,P=0 .042;OR=0 .678 ,95% C I:0 .553 -0 .832 ,P=0 .000 ) . High serum TG and education level are the influencing factors for elderly female hypertensive pa-tients (OR=1 .486 ,95% CI:1.131 -1 .950 ,P=0 .004;OR=0 .710 ,95% CI:0 .597 -0 .844 ,P=0.000) .Conclusion Education level is the protective factor for both elderly male and female hy-pertentive patients .The influencing factor is irregular life in male hypertentive patients and high serum TG level in elderly female hypertentive patients .Male patients with hypertension should improve the education degree and law of life ,while female patients should control diet ,reduce TG and increase cultural level .
