Abstract:The elderly population demonstrates substantial multi-dimensional vulnerability in the domain of oral health. The dynamic evolution mechanism of this issue, influenced by both policy interventions and intrinsic demands, has emerged as a central focus for health governance within an aging society. Now,in response to the research gap and problem-oriented nature of the vulnerability of oral health in the elderly, this study takes the three core issues that are most prominent in this field as the logical starting point. An effort is made to construct an"issue-target-path"analytical framework and propose a systematic research paradigm encompassing"motivation-phenomenon-control measures."By elucidating the internal operating mechanism underlying the vulnerability of oral health in the elderly, this work provides a theoretical foundation and policy implications for enhancing the intervention practices aimed at improving oral health in the elderly population. To this end,in the future,it is imperative to focus on addressing both external shocks and internal deficiencies.Key indicators should be systematically identified, and the vulnerability of oral health among the elderly should be dynamically mitigated through multi-dimensional coordination.Additionally, innovative exploration pathways must be developed to effectively support the strategic goal of achieving"healthy aging."
