Abstract:Implant restoration has progressively emerged as the favored solution for patients with missing teeth, particularly in the aesthetic region of anterior teeth.Patients have increasingly higher expectations for long-term stable aesthetic effects after restoration, which has become a research hotspot in implant restoration treatment. The resorption and remodeling of the alveolar bone are inherent processes in implant restoration and are influenced by a multitude of factors. This article paper reviews the local influencing factors of bone absorption at the edge of implants in the aesthetic zone of anterior teeth. The factors affecting the absorption of alveolar bone are analyzed from the patient's basic conditions, surgical process, bone integration stage, and post implant restoration stage, including soft tissue thickness at the implant site, lip bone thickness, periodontal disease, smoking, implant implantation trauma, immediate restoration, implant abutment connection method, restoration connection method, abutment gingival height, restoration gingival angle, peri implant disease, post restoration bite trauma, patient's own health maintenance, etc. The aim is to provide reference for clinical treatment and improve the good effect of implant restoration in the aesthetic zone of anterior teeth.
