Abstract:Objective:To observe the changes of MMP-2VEGF expression in 125I seed irradiation group and control group of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma tumor in nude mice, and to provide experimental evidence for the treatment of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma with 125I seed. Methods:Immunohistochemistry and SP were used to detect the expression of MMP-2 and VEGF in 125I nude mice and control group SACC,and the percentage of positive cells was calculated.Results:1、MMP-2 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of SACC and VEGF was mainly expressed on the membrane of SACC cells;2、The percentage of MMP-2 and VEGF positive cells in the control group was much higher than the radiation group which means the data difference has had statistical significance.Conclusions:1、125I particles can inhibit the expression of MMP-2 and VEGF protein in SACC;2、125I particles may inhibit the invasion and metastasis of SACC by inhibiting the expression of MMP-2 and VEGF proteins.
