Abstract:Objective:To screen and verify the potential of plasma miRNA-486-5p as a biomarker of for recurrence oforal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,28 patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma and 21 healthy controls were selected.Plasma samples were collected 1 week before operation and 1 year after operation in the experimental group and once in the control group.8 cases of squamous cell carcinoma and 3 cases of control group were used to construct cDNA libra,.After high-throughput sequencing, the target miRNA was screened, and the remaining plasma samples were used to verify target miRNA.Results:The highest expression of miRNAs in plasma was miRNA-486-5p,accounting for 39.6% of the total expression of miRNAs,and there was a differential expression between the groups. In the postoperative non-recurrent and normal control group, the expression level was higher than that in the preoperative group (P<0.01,P<0.05),but while there was no significant difference between the postoperative recurrence group and preoperative group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The expression level of plasma miRNA-486-5p is related to the recurrence of oral squamous cell carcinoma and can be used as a candidate biomarker for monitoring the recurrence of tumor after tumor operation.
