The research progress of caries detector dyes

Abstract：Dental caries detector is used to stain the infected dentin layer in the dentin caries,that is,after the removal of discolored caries,the visual and tactile cannot directly determine the infected dentin,which is a method to assist in the diagnosis of infected dentin.By staining the collagen fibers in dentin,the caries needs to be removed,visually,efficiently and accurately,so as to avoid excessive removal of non infected dentin.At present,domestic and international experiments and clinical display have shown its good effect Therefore,a thorough understanding of the mechanism and clinical application of dental caries indicators will have a profound impact on the development of caries and tooth diseases.
