Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of composite resin and adhesive on microleakage were discussed by combining the five kinds of composite resin with total acid corrosion and self-etching adhesive.Methods:50 freshly extracted teeth were collected, and holes were prepared in the buccal and lingual surface and divided into two groups:A and B randomly.Group A were used with Single Bond 2 total etching adhesive and group B were used with i.bond self etching adhesive. Each group was filled with Z350,Solitaire 2,Gradia Direct,Brilliant New Line,Dentex 5 composite resins respectively. All teeth were subjected to psychro-thermal cycles for 500 times, after soaked in 0.5% fuchsin solution for 24 hours, under the microscope, the penetration of dye on the edge of composite resin was observed and scored and the results were statistically analyzed. Results:when using Single Bond 2 total etching adhesive, the microleakage of two kinds of composite resins Z350,Gradia Direct is was lower than Solitaire 2 and Dentex. When using i.bond self etching adhesive, the microleakage of Z350,Gradia Direct,Brilliant New Line, and Dentex is was obviously lower than Solitaire 2.When using i.bond self etching adhesive, the microleakage of Brilliant New Line and Dentex is was lower than using the Single Bond 2 total acid corrosion adhesive. The other 3 resins had no significant influence on microleakage by using two different binders. The other 3 resins had no significant influence on microleakage by using two different binders. Conclusion:The microleakage of Z350、Gradia Direct nano filler composite resin is lower than that of Solitaire 2 composite resin.
