Abstract:Objective:The effect of marginal microleakage and bond strength using three kinds of cements in zirconia all ceramic crown was investigated.Methods:90 extracted teeth were randomly divided into 4 groups, which were Kerr Optibond Versa+Maxcem Elite group,3M RelyXTM Unicem group,CX group and Maxcem Elite group respectively.Zirconia all ceramic crown were made and were sticked by four different cements. After thermocycling experiment, the teeth were dyed by Methylene. The crowns were cut along the long axis of the teeth and evaluated under the microscope, graded the degree of microleakage. The shear bond strength of specimens that made by zirconia all ceramic crown and cement were tested.Result:There was no significant difference in group A,group B and group D in marginal microleakage(P>0.05),group C was lowest in four groups in marginal microleakage(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group B and group D in shear bond strength (P>0.05),and there was significant difference by pairwise comparison among other groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:The adhesion of resin cements was better than that of glass ionomer cement for zirconia all ceramic crowns. The pretreatment agent conducive enhanced the bond strength and reduced the marginal microleakage.
