A review of methods for ageing mouse models

Abstract：The aging mouse models could be divided into two categories:natural aging models and artificial aging models.This paper reviewed the aging mouse models established by nature,D-galactose,β-amyloid protein injection,accelerated senescence,γ ray irradiation,ozone,thymectomy and transgene.The principles,methods,indicators of evaluation,advantages and disadvantages of each method were elaborated to provide reference for researches with different purposes,including the establishment of oral mucosal aging model
