Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of systematic treatment of occlusal rehabilitation for partially edentulous patients with severely worn dentition. Methods: 36 patients with severe tooth wear and tooth missing were enrolled in the study, and rehabilitated with FPD-RPD. During the treatment and the 3-year follow-up, their feelings (esthetic feeling, comfort), clinical symptoms, masticatory efficiency and temporomandibular joint disease symptoms were recorded and analyzed before and after rehabilitation. Results:The patients were satisfied with both esthetics and function of the prostheses.
