Progress of research on sleep disorders and intervention strategies in tinnitus patients

Abstract:Tinnitus is a common clinical disorder.Due to its complex pathogenesis and lack of effective treatment,patients with tinnitus suffer from this condition.Sleep disorders are common in tinnitus patients because of its physiological and psychological changes,which can further aggravate tinnitus,seriously impair patients'physical and mental health,and render a profound impact on their quality of life and prognosis.This paper intends to summarize the current information on the epidemiology,influencing factors,assessment methods as well as the hazards and intervention measures in tinnitus with comorbid sleep disorders.We hope to raise attention of clinicians on this problem,and to provide a theoretical basis for future studies on tinnitus and comorbid sleep disorders.
