Abstract:Intracochlear Electrocochleography(ECochG)is a technology used during cochlear implant surgery to provide real-time monitoring of cochlear function.By detecting electrophysiological responses during electrode insertion,ECochG helps reduce cochlear trauma and improve patient rehabilitation outcomes.Despite technical challenges and intraoperative response variability, recent studies have demonstrated significant advantages in intraoperative ECochG.Ongoing research and technological advancements are expected to further refine this technique, making it a reliable monitoring tool during cochlear implant surgeries. This review focuses on the principles of intraoperative ECochG,and examines its clinical and research applications in improving cochlear implant surgery outcomes.
