A Case of Dural Arteriovenous Fistula with Tinnitus as the Main Symptom and Analysis of Diagnosis and Treatment
Abstract:Dural arteriovenous fistula (DAVF) is a rare cerebral vascular malformation with highly heterogeneous clinical manifestations. Patients with DAVF are often misdiagnosed or missed due to atypical symptoms, leading to delayed treatment. This article reports a case of DAVF with tinnitus as the initial and main clinical manifestation, and discusses it in combination with a literature review, aiming to improve the awareness of clinicians about DAVF and optimize diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University (EC-2025-KS-089), and the patient and family provided informed consent.
