Progress in Research on COVID-19 and Secretory Otitis Media

Abstract：SARS-CoV-2 causing COVID-19 is a class of RNA viruses that cause respiratory infections in humans.COVID-19 can lead to many diseases,including severe inflammation,lung damage,acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)and organ failure.However,research on the correlation between COVID-19 and secretory otitis media is limited.Based on a review of literature at home and abroad,this paper reviews the prevalence,pathogenesis and research progress of COVID-19 and its relationship with secretory otitis media.
