Abstract:Multiple diseases can cause vertigo in children, which have a significant impact on their learning and life. One of the most common vertigo in clinical practice is benign recurrent vertigo of childhood(RVC)and its concept has evolved for several decades.According to relevant documents by the Barany Association in 2021,RVC is both differentiated from and connected with vestibular migraine of childhood(BPVC)and vestibular migraine of childhood(VMC),and remains a diagnosis of exclusion, making its diagnosis and treatment challenging. This article summarizes the history and progress of the diagnosis and treatment of RVC based on the literature,in order to provide a basis to improve its clinical diagnosis and treatment.
