Abstract：Aural fullness is a common symptom that may involve any part of the peripheral hearing organ,from the external auditory canal to the inner ear,and is characterized by a sensation of ear obstruction,fullness or pressure.However,the mechanism of aural fullness has not been illuminated,and there is a lack of systematic diagnosis and treatment.The article reviews the progress research on the etiology,mechanism,diagnosis and treatment of aural fullness,aiming to provide assistance for clinicians.
