Abstract：The feeling of ear fullness(FEF)is an abnormal sensation in the ear,clinically manifested as a fe eling of ear blockage,compression,fullness,etc.Due to the limited pathophysiological research on this symptom,e ar fullness can easily be misdiagnosed as Eustachian tube dysfunction,otitis media or labyrinthine hydrops.We divi ded it into pressure and non-pressure ear fullness based on whether there is abnormal pressure sensation in the ear,and e xplained their etiology and mechanisms separately.We hope to help clinicians better understand ear fullnesss,and thus r educe the occurrence of misdiagnosis and improve its treatment.
